Following a Trust-wide review of lockdown procedures, I worked with the Central Compliance, Estates and Operations teams to, expand the deployment of NetSupport Notify as the standard lockdown alert system. NetSupport Notify was a system that I had researched and implemented whilst based at Beacon Hill Academy.
Once deployed, I worked with NetSupport to identify a mechanism to allow devices to roam across the Trust and still receive critical updates. This was further expanded in September 2025 following our Trustwide IT Overhaul, which allowed true Trustwide network communication and a hybrid-cloud approach to ensure true redundancy of this critical system.
Key Achievements:
- Procured and deployed NetSupport Notify across all Trust sites.
- Integrated the solution into Trust policies and delivered staff training.
- Provided ongoing support and optimisation, ensuring rapid, reliable communication in emergencies.
Impact:
This rollout has enhanced safety and preparedness, giving staff and students confidence in the Trust’s emergency response capabilities.
