In early 2023, I worked with other members of the Central IT Team to research, procure and implement a new cloud-first telephony solution for Kates Hill Primary. This project replaced expensive legacy telephony with a flexible, modern solution tailored to the needs of a busy school environment.
Key Achievements:
- Worked with senior staff on the technical evaluation, procurement, and rollout of the Xellion system.
- Collaborated with school staff and technical partners to ensure a seamless migration.
- Provided training and documentation, enabling staff to make the most of new features such as mobile integration and voicemail-to-email.
Impact:
The new phone system has enhanced communication, improved reliability, and future-proofed telephony for Kates Hill Primary, whilst also achieving significant cost savings.
